I am Rachael Attard, and I'm a certified personal trainer and nutritionist. I am also the creator of the 3 Steps to Lean Legs Programme - which is designed to aid women get a slim and toned body, without getting bulky.
I hold a Available of Scientific discipline from the University of Queensland, a Cert III and IV from the Australian Institute of Fettle, and a Certificate in Sports Diet from the International Gild of Sports Diet.
My mission is to empower women, help them feel skillful in their skin, and autumn in honey with practise and their bodies!

Take you e'er felt that exercise has made your body bigger, merely no-one seemed to accept you seriously, brushing you lot off and telling y'all that women can't become bulky?
I know how disheartening it can be when no-one seems to empathise the mode y'all experience, and don't understand that you but don't want to lift heavy weights anymore.
If y'all've experienced this- trust me, y'all're not lone. I've been through the exact same thing.
When I get-go got serious most the gym, I started working with a personal trainer named Cassie.
She put me on a weight lifting programme, which I was excited to try because I had seen women get amazzzzing results lifting weights. In the past, I had merely ever washed cardio and gym classes, so I was happy to attempt something new.
Afterward a few months of lifting weights, I was feeling great! My body had become really toned and I was nonetheless lean.
Fast frontwards some other few months, and I was probably the fittest I had ever been.
Yay!
I had been training harder than ever - I was lifting heavier, always challenging myself, and still fitting in some cardio. Simply I was dislocated considering my legs had become thick and muscular, my back was getting and so broad that singlets and crop tops no longer fit, and I was even looking a bit flabbier.
I didn't feel slim anymore, even though I had been training So Hard! I felt uncomfortable in my new body, and I felt bulky!
I talked to my trainer Cassie about information technology and she told me that women couldn't get bulky considering we don't have plenty testosterone. She also said that having lots of muscle was a good thing and that I should endeavor to keep increasing it. I told her that I wanted to try and slim downwardly some muscle, but she kept telling me that this shouldn't exist my goal.
All I really wanted was to feel comfortable in my torso again, but she didn't seem to sympathize.
I stopped personal training with Cassie and I tried a lot of different workouts to come across how they affected my body. That'southward also when I decided to study fettle and diet for myself. It had go my passion!
I found that nigh all personal trainers put women on the exact same weight lifting program, regardless of their goals or body blazon. Some women were bulking upwards like me, simply others looked great.
It took me a few years, and a lot of enquiry, but I finally found out why this doesn't work for everyone. It is because women's bodies reply differently to practise, and how your body responds depends on your Body TYPE.
I learned that there are iii chief trunk types - and each should follow a different workout and diet regime to accomplish a lean and toned expect.
Later trying out lots of unlike workouts on myself and my clients, I learned how each of the body types should practice to tone up, but stay lean.
And I found out that it IS possible to slim down bulky muscle, slim down your legs, and get the lean and toned trunk you have always dreamed of.
And I'm excited to share this with you!

Women have different goals when they start their fitness journey, and if yours is to build a lot of muscle, or you honey lifting heavy weights, past all means, go for it! I think being stronger is astonishing and do not let me or anyone else stop you.
I am just here to serve women who Do Non want to look bulky, but want to train, stay fit and look toned, but still look very feminine in their clothes.
